July - Off the Wall

The July theme is: Off the Wall

This month's judge is anonymous

Theme description: 

Be it a mural, graffiti, social comment, posters or advertisement walls have been used as canvases. Lets photograph these art works utilizing Light/Shade and Textures/Patterns. 

 

Rules can be found here. Keep in mind this is just for fun and has no impact on points gained during our regular monthly competitions.

Rob. I think you meant congratulations to Ginger for her 1st place win. My congrats to all...there were some great photos this month.

Note to Rick: I went to the National Gallery of Art last week (along with 3 other CCC members) for the Gallery's 25th anniversary of photography. "No Loitering" is my photograph of a photograph; the mat was circular; the shadows in the top left-hand corner are reflections from the lighting (I was going to take the shadows out post-processing, but decided I liked them). Thanks, Rick, for your judging and comments.

Just as a clarification, my image was a piece of a larger drawing of a person. This was the person's arm. Guess it could be made into a monster....
