I am in the process of choosing a new computer and was wondering if someone could help me with a few questions about LR/PS CC.
Since there've been recent problems with LR, is it safe to get the latest version?
Also is it possible to run LR/PS CC offline since I'm told they will be stored on my computer? Thanks.
Current LR version (.2) is not safe to download especially on a Mac. Download the .1 version until .3 is released.
Yes CC versions run fine locally. You only need to login at least every 30 days to validate your subscription and check for updates.
Adobe has just released Lightroom 6.3
Laura Shoe has the info on that and tells how to download that version bypassing 6.2. The good news is that photo import is as in the original LR6 and before the controversial 6.2 version.
