Be sure to consider the use of an ultra-wide-angle lens in shooting images for the Assigned theme for August, "Ant's Eye View." While most of us use wide-angle lens for landscape images, they're also highly effective in shooting close-up images with an interesting perspective. And don't forget your smartphone for this kind of shooting!
