Does anyone have tips on where to shoot an evening golden hour portrait session? I've done some morning ones at Beaver Creek, but I need a place where the scenery is east of the subject.
Any kind of nature works for me! Mountains, trees, or water, would all be great. I just need an open place for the subject to stand that will get good unobstructed light from the west with a somewhat interesting background.
I've attached an example image of a setting that I thought worked well, but it was in the morning, so the light would be going the wrong direction in the evening.
William, what kind of scenery are you seeking that is to the east? Mountains/ridges, or other elements?

William, an excellent location would be at several locations along the River View Trail along the Rivanna River in Charlottesville.
