As you may know, the Charlottesville Camera Club is a partner of the Ivy Creek Foundation, which enables us to use their Education Building as a meeting venue at a significantly reduced cost.
In light of that, Sue Erhardt, the executive director of the Ivy Creek Natural Area, has send me the following request:
"I am pleased to announce that myself and another staffer from Ivy Creek have been selected to be recognized by the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors for our service to our community in the county in recognition of Martin Luther King Day. The ceremony will be held next Wednesday, January 15th, at 1:00 pm at the Board’s meeting. Located in Lane Auditorium, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville.
Is anyone from the camera club willing and able to donate their talents to take pictures of us receiving the percolation?"
If you are willing to volunteer your photographic skills for this occasion, please let me know ASAP. Thank you! (You will get full credit for the use of your photos wherever they are published.)
