A new price can now be offered for the Charlottesville Camera Club trip to Iceland. Due to recent devaluation of the Icelandic currency (Krona), to the US Dollar, it is possible to lower the cost of this trip in US Dollars from $5,390 to $4,280!

Standard Payment, Cancellation and refund Policy

Jardsyn ehf. is an Icelandic company acting in publishing and tour operations. Our registered head office is at Jadar 5, 800 Selfoss, Iceland.

Before making a reservation we encourage you to read these Terms and Conditions carefully, as they constitute a contract agreement between Jardsyn ehf.and you from the time the booking is made. The person who makes the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of him/her and all other people in the group if he/she is booking for others, and same person is responsible for all payments due.

By submitting a booking, you confirm to us that you comply with these arrangements. DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION IS SATURDAY MAY 25TH 2019. Once you have submitted your booking and personal details by e-mail to bjornrur@gmail.com,  (or postal mail) you will receive a confirmation and pro-forma invoice of your booking via e-mail. Regular mail to:  Jardsyn ehf, Jadar 5, 800 Selfoss, Iceland.

For this Icelandic tour program, people obtain their own air tickets and seats. Icelandair has daily flights out of 15 airports in the US, and five in Canada.  

Terms of payment

Please note that a booking requires a subsequentpayment of $1,450. If your booking occurs after May 15th2019, a full payment is required. DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION IS SATURDAY MAY 25TH 2019.

Your purchase will initiate a reservation process. We will confirm with you via email within two or three business days. In that e-mail there are instructions regarding how to execute the payment.If paid by credit card (Visa or a MasterCard) or bank transfer, the deposit will be $1,450. You will later be reminded by e-mail when you need to pay the balance of your booking which is 90 days before your departure date - or Tuesday May 6th2019.We accept the following credit cards: Visa and MasterCard.  The Prices quoted for this Iceland program are in US$ and per person. All payments and possible refunds are in US$.  If you wish to pay your participation in full by bank transfer (not with an initial deposit) following your registration ($4,280 and $4,760 respectively with the single supplement), you are entitled to a special discount, $100 if this one time settlement will take place.

Standard Cancellation     The cancellation fee policy will take effect once you submit your reservation. If your purchase cannot be confirmed for any reason, we will fully refund your purchase without any additional charges except a basic bank transfer cost fee of $90.We recommend each customer read and review the cancellation policy and strongly advise purchasing travel insurance. Please note that cancellation fees are calculated based on the date we receive your signed Cancellation Request by email.

The cancellation fees listed above apply to all reservations. If participant is unable to participate, he or she can provide a substitute person, who then takes on the responsibilities of the original participant.

 No refund shall be given for any portions of the tour unused by the customer after tour departure regardless of circumstances. Any person failing to appear in Iceland at the Program’s first day shall not be refunded. All cancellations must be made directly by e-mail with Jardsyn ehf., email address:  (bjornrur@gmail.com).Or with registered mail to Jardsyn ehf.,  Jadar 5, 800 Selfoss, Iceland.

This Iceland tour program requires a minimum number of eight people to operate. In case the minimum number will not be reached, and/orthe tour will not operate, the affected customer will be fully refunded. Such refunds will be processed by wire transfer, where a wire transfer cost basic fee of $90 will be deducted from the overall refunded amount.

We will aim for processing your participation booking within 3-5 business days.Final payment is due Wednesday May 15th2019.  We will process your validcancellation/refund request by email within two weeks. We will NOT acknowledge voice mail cancellations.

Tour price of the - ICELAND 2019 EXCLUSIVE NATURE AND PHOTO TOUR,  August 5thto August 14th2019 (double occupancy) is $4,280.- all-inclusive while in Iceland (full board meals except lunch on day of arrival, domestic exclusive transportation, admissions, hotels, boat tours and guiding. Single room supplement is $480. Minimum participants: 6, maximum: 11. 

Not included: Taxes; passport, visas and associated fees; personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, accident/sickness/trip cancellation, baggage insurance, gratuities, baggage charges on aircraft, alcoholic or other beverages and all other services not specifically mentioned as included in the travel program. 

PHYSICAL ACCESSIBILITY:  The program requires physical independence and mobility. Any physical and mental condition that may require attention or physical assistance must be reported in writing when you make the reservation, and is subject to acceptance by Jardsyn ehf. Travelers must be able to embark or disembark motor coaches alone or with minimal assistance from a traveling companion. 

BINDING ARBITRATION:  Any controversy or claim arising out of/or relating in any way to this release of liability. Assumption of risk and Binding Arbitration Agreement, or any information relating in any way to the trip, or to the trip itself, shall be settled solely and exclusively by binding arbitration in Selfoss, Iceland, in accordance with the commercial rules of the Icelandic arbitration association then existent. In any such proceeding, the substantive, but not procedural law of Iceland will apply. The arbitrator and not any state or local court or agency shall have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability, conscionability, or formation of this contract, including but not limited to any claim that all or any part of this contract is void or voidable.
