How to Create Compelling B&W Photos

Tuesday, February 24, 2026 - 6:45pm to 8:00pm
Online Zoom Meeting - Refer to Meeting Announcement

Before the 1890s, our only option was to photograph in black and white (monochrome). So, now that we take color photography for granted, why create B&W photos? We will review some of the reasons you might want to create B&W photos, and then review a number of different editing programs and tools that can help you achieve your artistic vision.

Either before or after this presentation, you might want to view "Black and White Basics," a presentation from 2020 by Gerry Bishop that you can find on the CCC website as a PDF under "Presentations."
