How to Create Compelling B&W Photos

Before the 1890s, our only option was to photograph in black and white (monochrome). So, now that we take color photography for granted, why create B&W photos? We will review some of the reasons you might want to create B&W photos, and then review a number of different editing programs and tools that can help you achieve your artistic vision.
