The Magic of Masks

One of our fellow members, Mike Bachmann, will lead us through one of the very best photo-editing options we now have available: Adobe Lightroom's masking system. Lightroom has long been an excellent program for making what are called "global" edits to our photos, such as overall brightness, contrast, color temperature, and more. Now, through masking, we have the ability to make "localized" changes to specific parts of our photos.

Mike has mastered the Lightroom masking system, and he's ready to show us how best to use it. Even if you already use Lightroom's masks, you're sure to learn some new tricks from Mike. And if you haven't yet taken the leap into photo editing, you'll see how easy, transformative, enjoyable it can be.
