Beyond the rule of thirds, 33 hacks to improve your scores in club competitions

Fellow member Butch Mazzuca will present a “how to” that goes beyond the mundane with a series of narrated visual illustrations of photographic techniques focusing on impact and visualinterest.

Most photographers have read, seen, or heard the usual approaches to photography: using the rule of thirds, framing your subject, etc., etc. This presentation, however, focuses on the kinds of "hacks" you can use to improve your scores in photo club competitions. Even though 33 separate hacks are illustrated in detail, you will soon realize these hacks are not stand-alone suggestions. Like cross-training in a gym, this is cross-training in photography, where every image you’ll see during this presentation makes use of multiple “hacks.”

We can assure you that you will not look at club competitions in the same light after watching this presentation.
