Evaluating and Working with Light in Nature Photography

Thursday, March 17, 2022 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm
Refer to Meeting Announcement

Nic Stover is a professional nature and landscape photographer based in San Luis Obispo, California, who teaches a series of classes created to "help nature photographers . . . create more impactful images, so they can confidently and consistently express themselves. Through his classes, webinars, tutorials, and presentations, Nic works with people of all ages, backgrounds, experiences, and desires focused on a dialog on how we can thrive in our own unique creative and artistic process."

In his class on light, you will learn how your eyes and brain see light differently from how your camera sees it--and how to compensate for your camera's shortcomings, how to understand the different qualities of light and how to use them to enhance your subjects, how to use light to lead viewers' eyes to the most important parts of your photos, and much more. There will be time for questions after the presentation.
