Photographing in Shenandoah National Park

Wednesday, October 17, 2018 - 6:30pm to 8:45pm

This month we're fortunate to have Andrew Sentipal of the Manassas/Warrenton Camera Club and Fredericksburg Photo Club as a guest workshop presenter. Andrew will talk about the many aspects of photographing in Shenandoah National Park, beginning with a brief history of the park and going on to suggest the best kinds of subjects to photograph there, as well as where to find them. He'll cover techniques for shooting waterfalls, fog, wildlife, and the Milky Way, along with tips for capturing macro, landscapes, sunrise/sunset, and starbursts. Andrew will provide tips on photographing in different seasons, with details on specific shooting locations within the park. He will cover all these points with his own photographs and other visuals.

Don't miss this opportunity to hear from an expert on photographing in our closest national park!
