Photo Design--The Basics of Good Composition

Tuesday, May 19, 2020 - 4:00pm to 5:00pm
Refer to Meeting Announcement

How to properly compose a photograph--deciding what goes in, what stays out, how the components are organized--is at the heart of good photography. It is far more an artistic challenge than a technical one, and although it's a skill that comes naturally to some but only with diligence to others, there are some basics to "designing" an image that all photographers need to know and follow. This workshop will cover the "rules" of composition, the pitfalls that many photographers fall into, and the many was to transcend the ordinary.

While much within this workshop is aimed at those in the earlier stages of learning photography, more experienced photographers will benefit as well.

PLEASE NOTE THE TIME CHANGE! We will be conducting this workshop via Zoom, and we believe the new time will be more convenient for most of our members during the pandemic. You will receive a Zoom log-in notice a day or so before the meeting.
