October 2020 Meeting

Thursday, October 8, 2020 - 6:45pm to 8:30pm
Greg Holden

There are hats in stores and hats on heads—hats for protection, for fun, for style. There are rain hats, sun hats, baby hats, and granny hats. There mundane hats and those that make a bold statement. And don’t forget helmets, hardhats, and even headdresses.  Can you use an everyday item to tell a good story?

Meet & Greet - 6:45 - 7:00

The photo competition at our upcoming meeting will be judged by Greg Holden.  Greg lives in Denver, having moved there in 2019 from Bethesda, MD.  Greg is an aerospace engineer who finds an artistic outlet through photography.  He particularly enjoys finding interesting shapes and juxtapositions in nature while hiking. Little scenes that are easily overlooked help fuel his photographic creativity.  On October 20, Greg will give a presentation titled "Learning to See in B&W.”
