Field Trip to Truck Graveyard

The "Truck Graveyard" near Columbia, Virginia, might be the very best venue for old vehicle photography on the East Coast. Word has it that the property will be sold sometime this year, which could mean that the acres of ancient, dilapidated trucks will be removed or the site closed to photographers.

Our club has visited this site several times in the past, and some great photos have been the result. So, don't miss out of what may be your last opportunity to shoot these beautiful of relics of the 1930s, 40s, 50s, and 60s.

We will try to carpool from C'ville, leaving around 6:15 to arrive before sunrise. But you're free to drive on your own and arrive at any time you like. Rain date will be the next day, Sunday.
